Brimmerton Takes the All American Derby

The All American Derby, one of the premier Quarter Horse events of the year, was run on Sunday at Ruidoso Downs. The win went to Brimmerton, who did go off as the favorite. Under Juan Vasquez, Brimmerton broke well from the 8 hole and stole the victory over Cash for Kas and Hadtobenuts. Brimmerton, a white faced chestnut three-year-old, paid $5.80 to win.
