Wild Desert Takes
Queen's Plate, Dance With Ravens Injured

Dan Borislow's Wild Desert took Canada's Queen's
Plate on June 26. The three-year-old Canadian-bred son of scored
by a half length over King of Jazz with the star filly Gold Strike
finishing third. Bobby Frankel took over the training from Richard
Dutrow, who is serving a suspension, for the Queen's Plate. Wild
Desert, a son of Wild Rush, will be pointed for the rest of the
Canadian Triple Crown, with the Prince of Wales Stakes next on the
agenda. |
