2005 Two-Year-Old Contest

Road to the Triple Crown Contest, 2005

Starting January 8, every three-year-old stakes race will be posted in the Turf Angels Triple Crown Contest Forum. Participants pick the top three finishers of the race in the order that they think the horses will finish. Points are awarded on whether or not you are correct in your placings. A win is worth 10 points, a place worth 7, and a show worth 5.

For example:

If the Santa Anita Derby features Wimbledon, Quintons Gold Rush, Castledale, Rock Hard Ten, and Imperialism, participant A would post:

1. Rock Hard Ten
2. Imperialism
3. Castledale.

If Castledale wins, and Wimbledon shows, but Imperialism is second, then participant A will recieve 7 points. The Turf Angels staff will keep track of the points, all you have to do is post your selections! You must be signed up for the Turf Angels forum to play, but it is free and easy. You don't have to participate every week, if you forget a week, just join in next weekend!

Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 finishers. The contest runs through the Belmont Stakes.
